“As the art director for this film, I collaborated closely with the production designers to bring our vision to life. The project's logistics were challenging, especially considering the required camera movements. To accommodate this, we constructed a greenhouse with flyaway walls, a complex endeavor requiring meticulous planning and execution. Collaborating with the expertise of our foreman and production designer, we overcame these logistical hurdles. We successfully realized the intricate set requirements, drawing up plans and construction ideas for pulling it off. Working on a unique effects-heavy film was immensely gratifying, particularly in integrating live plants, soil, and rocks into the tight set. The challenge lay in ensuring that the greens appeared vibrant, dynamic, and organic, enhancing the film's visual impact. Overall, the experience was both demanding and rewarding, pushing the boundaries of creativity and technical proficiency to deliver a compelling cinematic environment.”
