One Last Laugh

Production Designer | Set Designer

“While in school, I took on an undeniably intense project, perhaps even a case of biting off more than I could chew. It marked the first instance of tackling a large-scale set design, pushing me to my limits in ways I had never experienced. The sheer magnitude of the project, with an over 80ft long hallway covering more than 2000 sqft, challenged me to the core. Surmounting each obstacle made me realize the depth of my capabilities and taught me invaluable lessons about perseverance and creativity. This venture honed my technical skills and profoundly impacted my understanding of the pivotal role of production design in any undertaking. Despite the challenges, seeing the outcome filled me with immense pride and gratitude, reaffirming the profound satisfaction of overcoming adversities and excelling beyond expectations. The entire hospital space was a set-build on one of my university stages, and I did the plans, designed it, and led the construction when I was only 20 years old.”
