Francesca was fortunate enough to meet Jen Pray while working on a feature. She adored her energy and spunky personality, and as a younger woman in the film industry, Francesca looked up to her as a mentor. Jen is the type of person who inspires others to work just as hard as she does and to always go above and beyond.

When we heard Jen had a business, “Ethos,” working in interior design and contracting, it all made sense! Jen is a fantastic film shopper and decorator, so it was only a given that she would be a creative business owner. We shared our Quilla services with her, and the rest was history—we were hired to revamp her website!

TALKING DESIGN

Jen already had an original site with branding she loved, but our team goal was to help her modernize it and incorporate effects and animations that made her site more interactive. We took her branding colors and used them as accents in dividers, fonts, and headers. Something else we wanted to do with Jen’s site was utilize forms and links to make it easily managed and accessible for her growing business. Easing accessibility meant quicker communication with clients

Having amazing work was very helpful in building her portfolio, but one of the things she mentioned was wanting to brighten up her photos and edit/color-correct them. Francesca headed this portion of the project and started by going through many photos and sprucing them up until Jen felt they accurately showed her design! From there we did a full rebuild and transferred her to site to the newest version of Squarespace.
